Announcement!: End of the Year Plan

Upcoming: Two full months of The Cardinal Directive!

Hello everyone! With Sleepless Revision Group 10 being posted, we’ve officially reached the last chapters of the book. Due to the way my revision groups were structured, this unfortunately does not mean that the book is entirely revised, but I am very confident in the direction I have for the revised version that I will be working on over the next few months.

However, I will not be posting those revisions for some time, as I have some ambitious intentions for the next few months and there isn’t room in the schedule for posting these chapters as they are revised.

Why? Well I’m glad you asked!

Here’s the plan:

I want to finish Season Two of The Cardinal Directive before December. With the schedule as is, flipping between Sleepless and Cardinal, I would only have FIVE more releases to do that. I don’t know exactly how many mission logs I need to be able to wrap up the season, but I know for certain that it’s more than five. So instead, we’re not going to switch off on Fridays.

For the next two months, every Friday I’ll be releasing another Mission Log for the Cardinal Directive! Including the final week of September, this gives me NINE more releases to get through the rest of the season’s content.

I admit, I don’t know if even this is enough (and am willing to dip into December if necessary), but the hope is that I can finish out the season within these nine mission logs.

My intention is to take December “off”, just like I did last year — and use the month to finalize revisions on BOTH Sleepless and The Cardinal Directive Season Two, so that they can be available via paperback and hardcover right around New Years!

From there, Season Three of the Cardinal Directive will begin the first week of January 2024, just like Season Two did in January 2023! We will shortly thereafter return to switching off Friday releases, once I solidify what will be taking that second Friday slot.

This is an ambitious time crunch, but I really want to see it through, and I think I can pull it off with a lot of focus and concentration. I’m very excited and very committed to this project, and I can’t wait for you all to see how the Season ends!
