“Okay… I didn’t have a camera, so you’re going to have to just trust me,” Charlie prefaced, readying herself for the tale. “So, like Patrick said, we were lost. We were supposed to find the room we were looking for at the end of the hall, but we must have passed it. So I turned around and started to backtrack. I swear, I was only walking for a few seconds…”
Though Charlie didn’t have a camera on her, the ARNEN camera array had eyes on her the entire way through.
It caught her as she began to backtrack, turning the corner out of sight while Patrick cleaned off the camera’s lens.

“Patrick…? You’d better not be pulling a prank!”
The fog swallowed up Charlie’s words and provided no response. Wherever Patrick was, he wasn’t in earshot anymore. She was confused, walking back the way she’d come expecting to see him just around the corner, but he was nowhere to be found. Her surroundings didn’t look familiar anymore.
The only sound was her suit beeping, reminding her about the contamination warning.
